 My name is Marcela Vega and I was born in Bogota, Colombia where I worked as an Occupational Therapist.

“In 2000, my family and I made the decision to move to Canada. When I first arrived, I worked as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) helping young adults and seniors with disabilities.”

Towards the end of my 16-year career as a PSW, my interest and passion for skin and beauty began to spur. During that time my son started suffering from acne, which took a toll on his self-esteem and confidence. As any mom would do, I began looking for solutions to help him rebuild his confidence and this sparked my interest in skincare. In the heat of the moment, I took a life changing decision and enrolled at the Laser Esthetics Education Center here in London, Ontario. 

It was definitely challenging to start a new career all over; there were many uncertainties, fears, and challenges at the beginning of this journey. However, with the support of friends and family, I had the opportunity to make my dream come true and opened up my own spa. In December of 2018 the world was introduced to InnerGlow Esthetics, a spa dedicated to all of your skin and body care.

For the past year, I’ve been serving the Latin-Canadian community providing skincare and body contouring. At InnerGlow, we offer a variety of skincare treatments tailored to the on the client’s needs and goals. Treatments range from skin rejuvenation, hydrodermabrasion and acne treatments to LED light therapy, microneedling, laser, and much more.

We also specialize in body contouring, which helps our clients with waist inch loss, cellulite and fat pocket reduction.

help dissolve fat, firm the skin and enhance skin elasticity. Overall, this treatment not only accelerates our metabolism but it helps reshaping the body figure.

InnerGlow has given me the opportunity to help others feel positive, confident and good about themselves. My mission is for my clients’ inner beauty to glow and this is the reason why I chose this name for my dreamed business.  At InnerGlow Esthetics we work in your outer beauty to complement your inner self and embrace your individuality.
